S&A
Announces new Commercial Carrier Module – FREE
Upgrade for all THIN users
With
Validator 5.12, the Availity Carrier module has been released as
a direct replacement for the THIN module. As some of you may know,
Availity has merged with THIN, and brings with them a much more
robust WEB BASED claims transmission method. All current THIN users
MUST transition to this new platform within the next few months,
as the THIN (dialup) system will be discontinued by THIN. As a
means to encourage our users to transition EARLY, we are offering
free upgrade support to our clients (up to 20 minutes worth) who
transition to Availity by April 27th! That’s right, FREE
support. In order to take advantage of this RARE opportunity, you
will want to follow the simple steps below:
- Go
to http://www.availity.com/register_home.htm and follow the steps
to obtain your “Trading Partner ID” (what
Validator refers to as a Submitter ID). In a strange twist, this
Carrier
will allow you to select your own Trading Partner (aka Submitter
ID).
You will be able to fill in your enrollment information online
and simply print, sign, and fax the agreement in. Our clients
usually receive their password and authorization to submit in production
(no testing required) within 48 hours. Read this
article for more
tips to ensure a smooth registration process.
- Once you have obtained your password, give S&A a call and schedule
an appointment for your FREE upgrade. S&A technicians will install
and configure the update for you and walk you through submitting
your first batch of claims to Availity!
Note: You WILL need a high speed internet connection to obtain your
FREE support, and MUST have internet access in order to submit
claims to Availity. Remember, up to 20 minutes of free support for
this
upgrade is offered ONLY to those who transition before April 27th!!!
